The predominant force behind this hypnotic brew of folk-psychedelia is known only as Mars. His ephemeral vocals and swirling melodies slowly insinuate themselves into your brain like a dream. While there are traces of other influences here, like Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd and Galaxie 500 (not surprising with Galaxie 500 producer Kramer at the producing helm), there is enough original quirk (like the ecstatic dirge "Waltz of Elenora") to set this project apart. Pretty cool stuff.
